The qualities that make them useful also make them dangerous. Over 100 fatalities and thousands of injuries are caused by forklifts or powered industrial trucks each year. Most of these incidents can be prevented with proper training and retraining when necessary. We created our training program to help employers train their employees in the proper use, and care of forklifts to prevent incidents from happening.
Only trained and competent operators shall be permitted to operate a powered industrial truck. All powered industrial truck operators must be trained and certified by their organizations.
This online training course will help employers provide the proper and necessary OSHA required training concerning forklifts. It will take you approximately 30 minute to complete and will cover the following topics:
